New CEO at Fiskerstrand Verft AS from 2023.

Dag Vikestrand has been appointed as the new CEO at Fiskerstrand Verft AS. He is 56 years old. He is Yard Director at Vard Brattvaag, Brattvåg.

Throughout his professional career, he has worked in the maritime industry, mainly in the shipyard industry. For a number of years he was part of the sales/marketing department in the Vard Group and in addition to his current position as a CEO at Vard Brattvaag since 2019, he held a similar position at Vard Langsten in Tomrefjord from 2013 to 2017.

From his previous professional career, Vikestrand has experience as an inspector and project manager in the seismic company Schlumberger, Western Geco, as well as a ship plumber and machine fitter at a shipyard.

He has also held a number of Board of Director and trustees positions related to both profession and voluntary activities and is now Chairman of the Board of Maritimt Forum Nordvest.

Fiskerstrand Verft is thus getting a very competent and experienced CEO on board. Vikestrand will take over for Magne Standal who is CEO at Fiskerstrand Verft AS today. Magne Standal has worked at Fiskerstrand Verft AS since 1985 and has since 2016 been the CEO at Fiskerstrand Verft AS. Magne will retire at the new year 2023.
